This is how you tie them on your shoe laces:

Take your favorite sneakers/boots and pull out the existing laces. Straighten them and start lacing them again starting from the top. Choose the trinket and gently insert it from the back loop seen on the rear side. Now take the lace forward to another rivet. Repeat this as you go along playfully arranging few or all on your shoe.
